Restart Calls from Any Point in Time

Last updated: October 4, 2025

Overview

Reps can now restart calls from any point in the conversation, allowing them to pick up from a specific moment instead of repeating the entire call. This is especially useful if a call gets cut off midway or if the rep wants to practice a particular scenario again.

How It Works

  1. Open the Call
Go to the call you want to restart. You’ll see the transcript and the bot’s lines as usual.

  2. Choose the Restart Point
Hover over the bot’s message where you’d like to restart. Click the Restart button next to that line.

  3. Redirect to Pre-Call Page
You’ll be taken to the pre-call screen, similar to starting a fresh roleplay.

  4. Start the Call Again
Hit Start Call. The bot will pick up exactly from the line you selected.

  5. Post-Call View
After finishing, you’ll see the regular post-call screen. A Restarted Call tag will appear on the call. Clicking this tag will take you back to the original call, where you can see the transcript leading up to the restart point.

  • You can only restart from bot messages, not from user lines.

  • The restarted call is linked to the original call, so it’s easy to review previous context and continue seamlessly.

  • The feature works for both regular practice and live scenarios.

Workspace admins can toggle this feature on or off for their entire workspace.

To turn off Restart Calls:

  1. Go to Workspace Settings.

  2. Navigate to the Features section.

  3. Locate Restart Calls and toggle it off.
When disabled, the Restart button will no longer appear for reps.

Why This Matters

  • Saves time by avoiding full call replays when only a portion needs to be redone.

  • Enables focused practice for reps who want to master specific objection scenarios.

  • Reduces friction when calls bug out, allowing smooth continuation.
