How to: Run Effective Hyperbound Trials; Success Criteria & Focus Areas

Last updated: May 6, 2025

Summary

In this module, you’ll learn how to structure Hyperbound trials to drive product adoption and secure technical validation, without overemphasizing sales outcomes.

Tools Required

• Hyperbound trial access
• Trial success template
• Post-trial survey (created by Hyperbound or reseller)

Step 1: Define Clear, Simple Success Criteria

  • Trials should have short and very clear goals.

  • Avoid overcomplicating the process with too many KPIs.

  • The primary goal: achieve technical validation—prove Hyperbound works in their environment.

Step 2: Focus on Usage, Not Sales Outcomes

  • Do not center trials around win rates or revenue impact.

  • Instead, track:

    • Number of calls processed

    • Roleplays completed

    • Time spent on platform

    • Engagement with AI coach

Step 3: Post-Trial Survey

  • Use a post-trial survey to capture feedback.

  • This should be created and distributed by Hyperbound or the reseller, not the buyer.

  • Focus survey questions on:

    • Ease of use

    • Value of insights

    • Coaching impact

    • User experience

Notes

• Keep expectations realistic—focus on proving utility and fit, not final ROI.
• The more users engage with the platform during trial, the stronger the case for adoption.
• Post-trial feedback is a critical step in turning trials into deals.
