Last updated: October 20, 2026

Learn how to connect the Mixmax Dialer to Hyperbound so you can automatically import and score your real sales calls.

Ensure Mixmax Dialer is enabled in your Workspace, if not, reach out to your SE team

Prerequisites: Real Call Scoring Settings

Before the integration is set up, ensure you have the right Call Routing and Privacy settings for the workspace. Learn more about it here:

Setting up Real call Scoring

Prerequisites: Mixmax Settings

Make sure the following is in place on the Mixmax side before connecting:

  • The API token must come from a Mixmax workspace admin whose own seat has the Dialer (calling) feature

  • Call recording is turned on for your reps. In Mixmax admin settings, enable Default Mixmax calls to be recorded

  • Your Mixmax workspace has access to the Mixmax Calls API. If you're not sure, reach out to your SE team and we'll confirm with Mixmax

1. Generate Your Mixmax API Token

  1. Log in to Mixmax with your workspace admin account

  2. Go to Settings > Integrations > API

  3. Create a new token and copy it, you'll need it in the next step

2. Create the Integration in Hyperbound

  1. Go to Workspace Settings > Integrations

  2. In the Available tab, find Mixmax Dialer and click Connect

  3. Enter a name for the integration (e.g. "Mixmax Dialer x Hyperbound")

  4. Paste your API Token from Step 1

  5. Click Save

Hyperbound will verify your token. If it's invalid, you'll see an error. Double check the token and that it belongs to a Mixmax workspace admin.

Managing Your Integration

From the Integrations page you can:

  • Pause: temporarily stop importing calls

  • Resume: restart a paused integration

  • Disconnect: remove the integration entirely

FAQs

How quickly are calls available in Hyperbound?

Mixmax makes a recording available up to 20 minutes after the call ends. Hyperbound picks it up on the next sync cycle (approximately every 2 hours) and scores it within a few minutes.

Is this the same as the Mixmax Meeting Copilot integration?

No. Mixmax Dialer imports phone calls made with the Mixmax Dialer. The separate Mixmax integration imports Meeting Copilot meetings. Make sure you connect Mixmax Dialer if you want your dialer calls scored.

What if my API token stops working?

Disconnect the integration, generate a new token in Mixmax and reconnect.

I'm getting an error when connecting. What should I check?

  1. Confirm the token belongs to a Mixmax workspace admin

  2. Confirm that admin's seat has the Dialer (calling) feature, otherwise recordings can't be accessed

  3. Confirm your Mixmax workspace has Calls API access. If not, reach out to your SE team

Do speaker names carry over?

Yes. Each call is matched to the rep who placed it in Mixmax, using their email.

Other Limitations

  1. Mixmax calls without a recording are not imported

  2. Calls are only matched to reps whose email exists in Hyperbound

  3. The integration does not backfill your full Mixmax history. It only imports calls within the sync window going forward

  4. If a call is deleted in Hyperbound, it will not be re-imported
