How to: Add weights to Scorecards
Last updated: October 8, 2025
Weighted scorecards let admins control how much each section of a scorecard contributes to the overall score. This helps you align evaluations with what truly matters in a call!
What Are Weighted Scorecards?
A weighted scorecard allows you to assign section weights, meaning each section can have a different level of importance.
The total of all section weights must add up to 100%.
Hyperbound automatically distributes the weight equally among all criteria within that section.
How to Set Up Weighted Scorecards
Go to the Scorecards page.
Select or create the scorecard you want to edit.
Click on
Enable section weightsIn the Section Settings, you’ll now see a Weight (%) field for each section.
Assign a weight to each section the total must equal 100%.
Hyperbound will automatically show if your total weight is over or under 100%.
Save your changes.
Why It Matters
Weighted scorecards bring flexibility and accuracy to your evaluations. Not every section in a call should be valued equally this feature helps you measure what truly drives performance.
Across Hyperbound customers, here’s how weighting is typically applied:
Discovery & Demo Training: 60–70% weight on Pain Discovery and Solution Mapping
SDR Assessments: Higher weights on Objection Handling and Pitch Clarity
By applying weights strategically, you ensure your scores reflect real selling impact not just checklist completion.
Best Practices
Keep total weights at 100% for consistency.
Prioritize the sections that most influence deal outcomes.
Review and adjust weights quarterly based on coaching feedback.
Use weighted data in analytics dashboards to track improvement in high-impact areas.
